Today’s trek takes you through rolling grasslands and rocky paths, leading to the pristine Kounsarnag Lake. On the way, visit Mahinag Lake, a sacred high-altitude lake. As you reach Kounsarnag, you’ll be mesmerized by its crystal-clear waters reflecting the snow-capped peaks. Spend the evening soaking in the beauty of this secluded paradise before setting up camp near the lake.

Spend the morning exploring the surroundings of Kounsarnag Lake, known for its turquoise waters and glacial-fed streams. After enjoying the breathtaking views, begin your descent back to Kungwattan, retracing your steps through the meadows and pine forests. Relax at the campsite and share stories under the starlit sky.

The final stretch of the trek takes you back to Aharbal, passing through scenic forest trails and riverbanks. After reaching Aharbal, enjoy a delicious Kashmiri meal before driving back to Srinagar. Check into your hotel or houseboat and spend a relaxing evening exploring the markets or taking a Shikara ride on Dal Lake.
