Itinerary
Upon arrival at Jammu Railway Station or Airport, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in and some rest, begin your sightseeing tour with a visit to the historic Raghunath Temple, one of the largest temple complexes in North India. Continue to the Bahu Fort, an ancient fortress offering stunning views of the Tawi River, and relax at the nearby Bagh-e-Bahu Garden, known for its fountains and serene environment. In the evening, enjoy shopping at Raghunath Bazaar, famous for dry fruits and handicrafts. Overnight stay in Jammu.
After an early breakfast, proceed to Katra, the base camp for the revered Vaishno Devi Yatra. Begin your 13 km trek to the shrine, or opt for a pony, palki, or helicopter ride (at extra cost). Seek blessings at the sacred cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi, believed to fulfill the wishes of devotees. After completing the darshan, trek back to Katra and return to Jammu. Overnight stay in Jammu.
Post breakfast, embark on a scenic 3-hour drive to Patnitop, a picturesque hill station nestled in the Shivalik range. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take in the fresh mountain air. Visit Nag Temple, an ancient temple dedicated to the Serpent God, and explore the Kud Market, known for its delicious Patisa (a local sweet). Spend the evening enjoying the breathtaking sunset views and a leisurely walk through the Pine Forests. Overnight stay in Patnitop.
After breakfast, set out for a day of adventure and scenic beauty. Head to Nathatop, a stunning vantage point offering panoramic views of snow-capped peaks. During winter, it turns into a skiing paradise, while summer is perfect for paragliding and photography. Continue to Sanasar Lake, a hidden gem surrounded by lush meadows, ideal for boating, horse riding, and zip-lining. Spend some relaxing time by the lake before returning to Patnitop. Overnight stay in Patnitop.
Enjoy your final breakfast in Patnitop before driving back to Jammu. Depending on your departure schedule, visit Amar Mahal Museum, a former palace showcasing Dogra heritage. Later, you will be dropped at Jammu Railway Station or Airport, marking the end of your wonderful Jammu tour.
