Itinerary
Upon arrival at Leh Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Since Leh is at a high altitude, it is essential to rest and acclimatize to the thin air before starting your adventure. Later in the afternoon, visit Leh Palace, an ancient royal residence offering panoramic views of the town. Head to Shanti Stupa, a serene Buddhist white-domed stupa known for its breathtaking sunset views. After breakfast, embark on an exciting journey to Nubra Valley, crossing the world’s highest motorable road, Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft). The drive offers spectacular views of the Himalayan mountain range and deep valleys. Upon arrival in Nubra, visit Diskit Monastery, home to the famous Maitreya Buddha statue, which overlooks the valley. Experience the unique sand dunes of Hunder and enjoy a Bactrian camel ride.
